Islamic Organization Of The Umar Brigade Bin Khattab Demands Disclosure Of Shooting In Karanganyar

The Islamic Organization calling itself the Umar Brigade bin Khattab demanded the completion of a shooting case in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java, which killed one of its members.

"The legal forecast must be carried out, must meet the person who killed, must be punished severely," said Head of the Umar Brigade Bin Khattab Sulistyo Budi on the sidelines of the funeral of the victim named Yudha Bagus Setiawan in Boyolali Regency as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 27.

It is also hoped that the case will soon be resolved by the police, the first is the murder case, the second is possession of firearms, and the third is gambling.

According to Sulistyo Budi, the shooting victim was not only Yudha, but also Kipli. Kipli who was hit by two shots is currently undergoing outpatient treatment.

"Mas Kipli was also hit by two shots, he was outpatient, he entered the clinic here in Boyolali last night. Mas Kipli is also a person here," he said.

Regarding the sweeping by the victim and his friends, the mass organization was carried out at one of the gambling locations, the Tohudan area, Karanganyar Regency, Friday (26/1).

When they arrived at the location, they met resistance from an unknown group of people.

In this regard, he suspected that the sweeping action had been leaked so that the sweeping target was aware of the planned arrival of the mass organization.

"Indeed, it seems that this has been leaked first. So, when we came there, they were ready. We were as many as 50 people, those who entered 20 to 30 people, others outside. There were 100 people there," he said.

In that incident, eight gunshots were heard from behind the members of the mass organization.

"Mas Yudha's position seems to be left behind. So, the first hit was Mas Kipli, we focused on Mas Kipli. We took him, then we disbanded, he was taken home. When we arrived at our house, we checked that there was still not one, it turned out that Mas Yudha was there," he said.

Furthermore, the members of the mass organization checked Yudha's whereabouts at the scene and found Yudha dead.

"The first to find Mrs. Suciati, a local resident. It looks like Mas Yudha has hit the chest. We haven't seen the results of the post-mortem either," he said.

Previously, Karanganyar Police Chief AKBP Jerrold Hendra Yosef Kumontoy confirmed the incident.

However, he has not been able to confirm who the shooter was. The case is currently still under police investigation.

"In the process. We have not clearly pocketed it," he said.

He said the police received the report on Friday (26/1) night.

"Yes, we received a report last night. However, everything is still under investigation. When it's finished, I'll tell you," he said.
