BRI Wins Five International Awards At RBI Asia Trailblazer Awards 2025. (IST)

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI again recorded brilliant achievements in the international arena by winning five global awards at the Retail Banker International (RBI) Asia Trailblazer Awards 2025 which was held at Singapore on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Present received the award at the event, President Director of BRI Sunarso, Director of Commercial, Small, and Medium Business BRI Amam Sukriyanto, and BRI Corporate Secretary A. Hendy Bernadi.

The five awards that BRI won in this event included Best Retail Bank Indonesia, SME Bank of The Year, Best CSR Initiative, Excellence in Employment, and Best Current Account Offering.

This award is a tangible acknowledgment of BRI's commitment to printing economic values and depositing social value, by recording sustainable positive performance, supporting MSME growth, and strengthening social and sustainability roles in its operations and business processes.

"This is proof that BRI is able to record a fundamental positive performance in a sustainable manner, even in difficult conditions. This trust and appreciation will further motivate us to continue to transform, provide the best service for customers, and support national economic growth through empowerment of MSMEs and broad-impact social initiatives," said Sunarso in a written statement published by VOI, Friday, March 14.

Named Best Retail Bank Indonesia, BRI continues to provide digital-based banking services that are increasingly inclusive and easily accessible to the public. Meanwhile, the SME Bank of The Year award confirms BRI's role as a leader in supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through various financing, training, and business assistance schemes. Until the end of December 2024, BRI's loan disbursement was recorded at IDR 1,354.64 trillion or grew 6.97% year on year with all loan segments recorded positive growth. BRI's lending was dominated for the MSME segment with a portion reaching 81.97% compared to BRI's total credit, or with a nominal value of IDR 1,110.37 trillion.

On the other hand, the Best CSR Initiative award shows BRI's commitment to creating positive social impacts for the community through various sustainability programs. Meanwhile, the Excellence in Employment award is also proof that BRI is not only focused on serving customers, but also continues to build a strong and inclusive work culture for all its workers.

Meanwhile, the Best Current Account Offering award emphasized that BRI products, especially in the giro account segment, provide added value and convenience for customers in managing their business transactions.

This achievement further strengthens BRI's position as an adaptive financial institution to change and continues to innovate in providing financial solutions that are relevant to all levels of society.
