Campaign In Aceh, Anies Calls For Change

BANDA ACEH - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan called for the spirit of change during the celebration of the grand campaign in front of the people of Aceh, to create a just and prosperous Indonesia for all.

Anies welcomed the enthusiasm of the people of Tanah Rencong who were present at the grand campaign took place because of the H Dimurthala Stadium in Banda Aceh. In fact, he was reluctant to go first, before the event was over.

"For us, this indicates the spirit of the people of Aceh to welcome messages of change," said Anies as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, January 27.

Anies assessed that currently the Indonesian people feel the burden of living expenses are increasing, to difficult jobs.

Especially in Aceh, he said, areas with extraordinary natural wealth. Likewise, the large injection of special autonomy funds (otsus), but Aceh is still one of the provinces with the highest poverty rate in Sumatra.

"We plan to correct all of them. The basic necessities are affordable, then investment increases which are labor-intensive, not just investment in capital-intensive," he said.

Therefore, said Anies, this effort will create more jobs. Likewise with regulatory support that makes it easier for micro and small enterprises (MSMEs) to get more capital.

"That way we will be able to witness more equitable economic growth," he said.
