TKN Asks Bawaslu To Be Proactive In Tracing The Fitnah Of Prabowo-Gibran Sticky Bulog Rice Photos

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Habiburokhman, denied that his party was involved in installing candidate pair number 2 stickers in rice sacks produced by Bulog whose photos were circulating in the community.

Habiburokhman emphasized that his party had never used rice as a political commodity. Moreover, rice is an aid from the state for the community.

"We hereby convey that it is not true that if there are accusations that we put the sticker on, then make the rice a political commodity to benefit us," Habiburokhman said at a press conference at the Media Center TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Jakarta, Friday, January 26.

The deputy governor of Gerindra also suspected that there were parties who had an orchestration behind the issue to corner candidate pair number 02 Prabowo-Gibran. According to him, this issue has been rolling freely from Prabowo-Gibran's electability which has continued to rise recently.

"We feel that there are parties who are orchestrating related to the news to corner us, when Prabowo-Gibran's electability is skyrocketing," he said.

TKN, continued Habiburokhman, is currently watching Jhon Sitorus' X @Miduk17 account, which uploaded a campaign sticker photo of candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka attached to Perum Bulog's Food Supply Stabilization and Price (SPHP) rice.

In the post, he said, there was also a slanderous sentence that said Jokowi's cabinet was serving Prabowo-Gibran.

"We have checked until now there has been no official report to Bawaslu regarding the incident. We are currently gathering evidence and supporting our right to legally prosecute those who spread slander, which accuses us that we are putting the sticker on," explained the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR.

Therefore, Habiburokhman asked Bawaslu to proactively investigate this case so that it becomes clear and clear to the public that the case of Bulog rice with candidate pair number 2 has nothing to do with Prabowo-Gibran.

"We ask Bawaslu to be proactive, just invite the owner of this account to ask to be clear and clear," said Habiburokhman.

The DPR member of the East Jakarta electoral district then appealed to the public not to be provoked and easily incited by fake news. This needs to be done to realize a jurdil and fair election.

"It is necessary for us to work together so that this election can be successful peacefully, not colored by fake news, not slander, not colored by fraud, not colored by misuse of government assistance," said Habiburokhman.
