JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary Pratikno admitted that he had not received the letter of application for the resignation of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD. "Until now (Friday afternoon), we have not received Prof. Mahfud Md.'s resignation letter as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs," said Pratikno via text message in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, January 26. Pratikno's statement responded to the issue that Mahfud would submit his resignation letter on Friday afternoon. Mahfud, who is the candidate for vice president number 3, in a discussion event in Semarang, Tuesday, January 23, stated that he was waiting for the momentum to resign from the ministerial position.
