Formation Of Cyber Directorate At 8 Polda: Still Socialization

JAKARTA - The National Police will form a Cyber Directorate at the Polda level. The progress of the process is said to be still in the socialization stage.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, said that there were 8 Regional Police that were planned to be formed by the Cyber Directorate.

"Regarding the expansion of Cyber in several Polda, it is true that the formation of Ditsiber will be carried out in eight regional police stations, and now it is in the stage of harmonization or socialization," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago to reporters, Wednesday, January 24.

The eight regional police that will form the Cyber Directorate between Lian, Polda Metro Jaya, Polda North Sumatra, Polda Bali, Polda West Java, Polda East Java, Polda Central Java, Polda Central Sulawesi, and Polda Papua.

The socialization step, said Erdi, was a follow-up after receiving the blessing of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) regarding the expansion.

Furthermore, we will prepare human resources and others in the formation of the Cyber Directorate.

"So the socialization, then there are police regulations that are prepared first. We prepare the organizational resources, infrastructure and budget," said Erdi.
