Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Major General Izak Pangemanan stated that he did not recommend flights to Bilorai Airport, Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua, to anticipate the shooting carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
"With the threat made by the KKB, it is because it does not recommend flights to Sugapa to be safe," said Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Major General Izak Pangemanan as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 23.
He said the TNI-Polri would immediately resolve the issue, so that the area was safe again and flights could return to normal.
"If it is safe in the Sugapa area, then flights can return to normal," said Izak Pangemanan.
