KPU Checks Voters In Ambon, Damage And Lacks Are Confirmed To Be Handled

The KPU reviewed the implementation of the 2024 election ballot logistical sorting by the Ambon City KPU at the Karang Panjang Sports Hall (Karpan) building, Ambon, Maluku.

"I see Ambon's readiness, especially regarding the election logistics which will be lowered to the voting organization group (KPPS) for election preparations, February 14, 2024," said KPU member Betty Epsilon Idroos in Ambon as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

In accordance with the observations, he said, the election logistics building belonging to the Ambon City KPU was very representative. In addition, the procedures for preparing and packing election logistics to the level of security guarded by the TNI/Polri look very neat, safe, and comfortable.

"Alhamdulillah, I see the preparation and packing are very neat. This is also inseparable from good cooperation from the Ambon City Government," said the Maluku KPU RI Regional Coordinator (Korwil).

For the broken ballot logistics, Betty said that his party had coordinated regarding when to return the ballots that were lacking.

"The damaged ballots have been handled by the KPU, all operational standards are there. Later it is just a matter of coordinating when it will be destroyed in terms so that the election is not disrupted," said Betty.

In the logistics warehouse, Betty and his entourage saw firsthand the multiples to the packing of ballots which would later be distributed to polling stations (TPS) in Ambon City.
