JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo does not care about the program to remove bad loans from farmers and fishermen, imitated by pair number two, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Instead, he called this a good thing.

"If it is imitated, I am happy. That means, we have the same commitment, we bring the anti-corruption agenda," said Ganjar to reporters in Lampung, Monday, January 22.

Ganjar said that this program was actually needed by the community, especially farmers and fishermen. "We are happy, we want to write off their debt that is something, so it provides burdensome for them, especially those in the category of small businesses," he said.

"Are they fishermen, farmers, MSMEs, we want to remove them, we are happy, so many people agree with our program," continued the former Governor of Central Java.

Member of the Steering Committee of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Hashim Djojohadikusumo revealed that he has a program to write off loans from farmers and fishermen.

"It turns out that there are millions of farmers and fishermen who are still burdened with old debts, called business loans for farmers and fishermen. This is from the 90s," said Hashim in his statement, Sunday, January 21.

Hashim said that there are eight million farmers who are burdened with debt because they are unable to pay. As a result, they seek loans to moneylenders and online loans (pinjol).

"Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran, maybe on the second and third days they will remove all the debts. They will do bleaching," he said.

"We will do bleaching so that millions of farmers and fishermen can borrow again. They will not be billed by banks. We will delete them. They are given another loan right. They want to borrow IDR 5 million, IDR 10 million, IDR 500 thousand, please. The Prabowo-Gibran government will give rights," concluded Hashim.
