Surya Paloh Reminds To Maintain The Rules For Playing The 2024 Election

Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, reminded all parties to maintain the rules of the game in the 2024 General Election.

"We want peace between us fellow nation's children, there is no meaning for elections if we break up. Our job is to all follow the election, maintain the rules of the game," said Surya Paloh in a written statement quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

Paloh made this affirmation in the NasDem Party's national campaign in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Paloh also reminded all parties that the election must be honest, fair, dignified, and cheerful.

He hopes that the 2024 General Election will run cleanly and free from various political hatred that leads to the division of the nation.

"The people must get a leader fairly (fai Badminton)," he said.

NasDem as a political party, he said, wants to consistently implement the ideals of the nation's founders in accordance with the mandate of the proclamation.

Paloh reminded cadres and legislative candidates in Lombok not to forget to pray to God Almighty.

"After power and effort, we last ask the Creator," he asserted.

Paloh reminded all cadres and candidates of the NasDem Party to contest happily. The enemy, which has been obliged to be remembered by every cadre of the NasDembukan Party, is not another political party.

"Our idealism states that the main enemy in this country is the peculiarity of thinking, ignorance, poverty, and a sense of injustice. That is our enemy," he said.
