Mahfud MD's Performance Is The Most Satisfactory In The Kompas Research And Development Survey

JAKARTA - Litbang Kompas released the results of a survey related to the appearance of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) in the fourth debate of the 2024 presidential election held by the KPU at JCC, Sunday, January 21. As a result, the public assessed that the performance of the vice presidential candidate number 3, Mahfud MD, was the most satisfying in the debate compared to the two other candidates.

"Mahfud got the highest satisfaction value and was at a value of 78.9 percent. Followed by Gibran with a satisfaction level of 68.0 percent. Cak Imin is in last place with a satisfaction level of 61.2 percent," said the statement released by the Kompas Research and Development survey received, Monday, January 22.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey noted that only 20.4 percent considered Mahfud's appearance unsatisfactory. Meanwhile, Gibran received a 30.6 percent dissatisfaction and Cak Imin 38.1 percent.

In the survey release, it was also stated that satisfaction with candidates was assessed from three aspects. Namely, answering questions smoothly and clearly, mastering problems, and the appearance of candidates on stage which includes clothes on how to stand up to expressions.

From the three aspects of the assessment, Mahfud also managed to outperform Gibran and Cak Imin. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs got a score of 7.4 on his ability to answer, master the problem 7.4, and appear with a score of 7.7.

Meanwhile, Gibran got a score of 7.1 for his ability to answer, 7.0 for mastering problems, and 7.3 appearances.

"Then, Cak Imin received 6.9 each to be able to answer and master problems and 7.6 related to appearances," according to the Kompas Research and Development survey.
