PSI's Grand Campaign In Solo, Kaesang Reminds Residents Not To Forget To Vote For Gibran

SOLO - The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) conducted an open campaign at Jajar Field, Laweyan District, Surakarta City, Central Java, with thousands of sympathizers attending.

PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep, in the grand campaign, invited PSI sympathizers and the people of Surakarta City to come to the polling station (TPS) on February 14 and vote for PSI cadres and presidential candidate pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"What is important is that on February 14, 2024, PSI and Gibran came to the TPS, voting for PSI and Mas Gibran Raka. If you are annoyed with Mas Gibran, just vote," said Kaesang as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

Kaesang also asked sympathizers to also vote for legislative candidates from PSI. He then introduced PSI candidates in the 2024 General Election to the DPR, Central Java Provincial DPRD, and the Surakarta City DPRD.

Kaesang hopes that the people of Surakarta will get to know and choose PSI candidates.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of PSI Raja Juli Antoni said that his party chose an open campaign in Surakarta because it was related to the campaign zoning schedule for Prabowo-Gibrandi Central Java, Monday.

"Incidentally, in terms of political calculations, we see Surakarta as a good city to start this open campaign. One institution places PSI at fifth in Central Java," said Juli.

Therefore, with the initial capital of the open campaign in Surakarta, PSI hopes that Central Java can produce one seat for PSI candidates in each electoral district.

"We don't think about reducing other parties, but competition is healthy. Who is sure that PSI is a party that can continue Pak Joko Widodo's job idea?PSI targets one electoral district and in the city district there is one faction," explained Raja Juli.
