The Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Transportation Was Questioned By The KPK Regarding The Regulation Of Project Winners To The Determination Of BPK Audit Findings

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) Novie Riyanto was questioned regarding several things in the development of the alleged bribery of the Director General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation. Among them are related to the arrangement of the winner of the auction.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Novie was questioned on Thursday, January 18 yesterday at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"It was confirmed against the witness on suspicion of regulating the winners of the auction, including the consolidation of BPK audit findings," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Monday, January 22,

In addition, investigators also asked about the appointment of a commitment-making official (PPK) related to procurement at the Ministry of Transportation. However, Ali did not specify which projects were in question.

Previously reported, there were two suspects who were again announced by the KPK regarding the alleged bribery in the procurement of railroads at the DJKA Ministry of Transportation. It has not been detailed about the parties named as suspects because the process will be carried out in conjunction with forced detention efforts.

Meanwhile, the DJKA bribery case has 12 people who have been named as suspects. They are the Director of PT Bhakti Karya Utama, Asta Danika; Director of PT Putra Kharisma Sejahtera, Zulfikar Fahmi; Director of Railway Infrastructure Harno Trimadi; PPK Central Java Railway Engineering Center (BTP Jabagteng) Bernard Hasibuan; Head of BTP Central Java Putu Sumarjaya; PPK BPKA South Sulawesi Achmad Affandi.

Asta Danika became a suspect with Zulfikar Fahmi for allegedly bribing the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Bandung Synto Pirjani Railway Engineering Center Hutabarat for Rp935 million. The gift was given so that he would get a project at BTP Bandung, namely the Lampegan-Cianjur railway line improvement project.

In addition to the names above, the anti-corruption commission also named another suspect, namely PPK for Rail Infrastructure Care Fadliansyah; PPK BTP Jabagbar Synto Pirjani Hutabarat; Director of PT Istana Putra Agung Dion Renato Sugiarto; Director of PT Dwifarita Fajarkharisma Muchamad Hikmat; Yoseph Ibrahim as Director of PT KA Properti Management until February 2023; and Parjono as VP of PT KA Property Management. Part of this name is currently undergoing trial at the Corruption Court (Tipikor).
