PSI Maximizes Akbar Capai's Campaign To Escape The Senayan Parliamentary Threshold

PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep said his party would maximize the schedule for the grand campaign on January 21-7 February to achieve the target of meeting the Senayan parliamentary threshold requirements.

"We will maximize the remaining time towards the end of the campaign period to socialize PSI to the public so that they are better known and become an option," said Kaesang after attending PSI West Sumatra Regional Land Coffee (Kopdarwil) in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 19.

Kaesang said PSI was indeed targeted to win four percent of the national vote to be able to walk to Senayan. For this reason, DPW and PSI DPC in the regions are also asked to maximally socialize the party so that they can gain votes.

Regarding the West Sumatra PSI DPW, Kaesang assesses that it is getting more solid and is expected to achieve the target of one seat for one electoral district as declared by the Chairman of the West Sumatra PSI DPW, Sukma Trianda Putra.

"We hope that PSI West Sumatra can break the egg to get a DPRD seat in the 2024 election," he said.

After leaving West Sumatra, PSI Chairman Kaesang is scheduled to fly to attend PSI Kopdarwil in Tarakan, North Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the West Sumatra PSI DPW, Sukma Trianda Putra, while accompanying Kaesang, said that his party has targeted to be able to win one seat per electoral district and will maximize all party potentials to achieve this target.

"West Sumatra's PSI will support the national target of winning four percent of the vote and qualifying for parliament in the 2024 election," he said.
