Not Yet Joining TKN, Maruarar Sirait Directly Roadshow Campaign Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - Former PDIP politician, Maruarar Sirait has officially expressed his support for candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. However, Ara, as he is familiarly called, has not confirmed whether he has also joined the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) or not. Ara only stated that he would participate in Prabowo's directives and activities as a presidential candidate. As this afternoon, Ara accompanied Prabowo to attend a dialogue with the Fellowship of Churches in Indonesia. "I'm just joining Pak Prabowo. I'm following Pak Prabowo, what is certain is that this is my first official activity," said Ara in PGI, Salemba, Jakarta, Friday, January 19. After appearing for the first time as a supporter of Prabowo-Gibran, Ara revealed that he would campaign for candidate pair number 2 to West Java, DKI Jakarta, and North Sumatra. "On Sunday, the 21st, I attended an invitation from Bang Ara's friend to support Pak Prabowo in Majalengka, then Subang, Sumedang, to Bandung, then in several cities in Jakarta," he said. "Then there is also a plan that I will attend invitations from our network in the Lake Toba area. If allowed, I will try to be present in Toba, in Samosir, in Humbang, and in North Tapanuli, and in several other areas that have given us invitations, to me to attend, yes, we pray for Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran to be given the opportunity to lead us all," continued Ara. Asked again about when to join TKN, Ara emphasized that currently he is in Prabowo's ranks. He made sure he would participate in the fight to win Prabowo-Gibran.

"I followed Pak Prabowo, we have been asked earlier, we just follow Pak Prabowo, follow friends who have been fighting so far, Mas Rosan Roeslani and so on," he said.
