MEDAN - The Mandailing Natal Resort Police (Polres) arrested men with the initials DP (24) and MF (28) residents of Padang City, West Sumatra who were suspected couriers of marijuana-type narcotics weighing 116.2 kilograms.
"The confiscated evidence was in the form of 116, 2 kilograms of marijuana, one car used to lift evidence," said Mandailing Natal Police Chief AKBP HM Reza Chairul Akbar Sidiq as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.
Reza said officers arrested the two suspected couriers on Jalan Umum Simbangan, Laru Lombang Village, Tambangan District, Mandailing Natal Regency, Tuesday (9/1).
"As a result of the interrogation, the two suspects had twice delivered 70 kilograms in February 2023 which were ordered with the initials F with a salary of Rp. 6.5 million, and now Rp. 10 million per person to take marijuana to Mandailing Natal with the aim of Padang, West Sumatra," said Reza.
