Ganjar Offers 1 Village 1 Health Facility 1 Health Service Program To Prevent Stunting

NGAWI - Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo emphasized the importance of realizing the One Village One Health Faskes Satu Nakes program so that health workers can monitor and accompany every pregnant woman so that stunting prevention can be optimal.

"Ganjar-Mahfud One Program, Satu Faskes Satu Nakes Village, can be optimal to reduce stunting rates," said Ganjar when meeting community leaders, religious leaders, farmer groups, and forest village community institutions (LMDH) in Widodaren District, Ngawi Regency, East Java, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 18.

On this occasion, there was an integrated service post cadre named Warsini who conveyed about a number of ways to prevent stunting.

Ganjar also asked Ganjar regarding how to reduce stunting if he was elected president in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"What must be done, don't get married too young, also don't get too old. If the marriage is not too young, God willing, the child will be healthy. Later, if you want to get married, you will be examined by your husband and wife," he said.

Apart from not getting married early, another effort to prevent stunting is the obligation for married couples to regularly check their wombs, one of which is to go to the posyandu.

Given that pregnant wives must be examined immediately, he and the Candidate for Vice President RIMahfud Md. offer a program for every village that there must be health facilities (faskes) and health workers (nakes) so that pregnancy examinations can be assisted by posyandu cadres.

"When a pregnant woman is pregnant, the nutrition is considered. That's what prevents stunting for the first time. Once a baby is born healthy, the milk uses exclusive breast milk," said Ganjar.
