South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Confiscates Documents In Search Related To Corruption Of Civil Servants Of The Provincial Inspectorate

The South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office searched the case of alleged gratification of civil servants (PNS) of the South Sumatra Province inspectorate. Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, Vanny Yulia Eka Sari, explained that the investigation team in the field of special crimes at the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office conducted a search in connection with the alleged gratification of civil servants in the South Sumatra Province Inspectorate. The search was based on the letter of determination of Palembang District Court No. 1/PenPid.Sus-TPK-GLD/2024/PN Plg dated January 8, 2024 and the Search Order of the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office Number: PRINT-2476/L.6.5/Fd.1/12/2023 dated December 28, 2023. "Oknum PNS Inspektorat Provinsi Sumatera Selatan merupakan tersangka EK warga Kecamatan Gandus, Kota Palembang," katanya di Palembang, Antara, Kamis, 18 Januari. He added that in that case, several documents of electronic evidence of letters and other objects were confiscated which were deemed necessary and related to the case of alleged gratification of the civil servant. The search was led directly by the head of the investigative team in the alleged gratification case, namely Iwan Arto. "The search took place in an orderly and safe and conducive manner," he said.

Previously, the Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, Vanny Yulia Eka Sari, explained that the South Sumatra Attorney General's Office had named one suspect based on the results of the investigation in the case of alleged gratification of the South Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate Civil Servant in accordance with the investigation warrant of the head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office number: PRINT-22/L.6/Fd.1/12/2023 dated December 7, 2023.
