Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD reminded ministries and institutions to use the budget according to plan. Do not let the existing money be used for political purposes ahead of the 2024 presidential election. This was conveyed by Mahfud at the Entering Meeting of the Audit of the Ministry of Ministries/Institutions Covering the Main Auditorat of State Finance (AKN) I at the BPK RI Building, Jakarta, Thursday, January 18. "I advise that each ministry of institutions should really supervise the use of the budget according to its planning," Mahfud said in his remarks. "Don't let budget irregularities occur for political purposes, fight for national leadership candidates and legislative candidates," he continued. Mahfud also advised ministries and current institutions to serve as usual. Bureaucratics should not be disturbed just because of the political process that occurred. “ Political issues are a matter of necessity, there is a constitutional schedule, and it must be passed. Don't let every political contestation become disrupted, ” he said.
