The Mataram City Health Office (Dinkes) has prepared the concept of forming a justice team for the prevention and prevention of Tuberculosis (TBC) cases as an acceleration effort to achieve the TB elimination target by 2030.

Based on data from the Mataram City Health Office, the achievement of TB prevention and prevention indicators in Mataram in 2023 reached 71.98 percent or 8,457 cases out of 11,738 suspected TB. Meanwhile, the findings of cases were recorded at 1,974 people from the target of 2,414 people. Meanwhile, the success of treatment reached 90 percent.

Meanwhile, the obstacles faced in the field, he said, are not complete treatment, feedback, stigma of shame for treatment, and public education is needed that TB treatment is all free.

"We can heal all diseases and if we are consistent with medical treatment, the average is successful and we make sure there is no stigma," he said.

In this regard, his party appealed to the public if they found indications of TB cases such as symptoms of cough that did not stop to immediately carry out examinations through 11 health centers throughout the city of Mataram, service funds were provided free of charge.

A phlegm examination can be carried out in a laboratory at the puskesmas, even if it requires follow-up, it can be referred to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Mataram City.
