Heartache, Man In Deli Serdang Has The Heart To Kill His Wife

MEDAN - Medan Police arrested a man HI (37), the perpetrator of the murder of his wife, MN (27), a resident of Deli Serdang Regency.

"From the suspect's confession, he killed the victim because he was hurt and held grudges," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Teddy Jhon Sahala Marbun as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 15.

Teddy said the HI perpetrator was arrested at his workplace on Jalan Pembangunan, Mulyo Rejo Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency on Saturday (13/1) night.

"The team worked hard to catch HI on Saturday night because it happened in the morning," he said.

Teddy said the perpetrator on Friday (12/1) planned a murder by pledging to meet his wife at an inn on Jalan Jamin Ginting, Medan City.

"After meeting in the room, the perpetrator immediately killed the victim, then his body was taken by car to Sei Semayang, Deli Serdang," he said.

The evidence confiscated included sleeping pillowcases, towels, plastic ropes, sleeping pillows and several others.

"The perpetrator was charged with Article 340 and Article 338 concerning premeditated murder," said Teddy.

The victim is the wife of the two suspects and they have been married for one year. The couple also has a four-month-old child.

The HI suspect admitted that he regretted killing his wife.
