Medan Polrestabes Reveals Happy Water Type Of Homecoming Industry

MEDAN - Medan Polrestabes revealed that the home industry is suspected of being the place for the manufacture of narcotics and illegal drugs (drugs) of the type of "happy water".

"These drugs can be said to be new in Medan and North Sumatra," said Medan Police Chief Kombes Teddy Jhon Sahala Marbun in Medan, North Sumatra, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 15.

Teddy said the suspect arrested was a male man with the initials WK (28), BT (41) and a woman with the initials MD (29).

The arrests began with information from the public that the existence of a house was used as a place for making happy water.

"Then, the team immediately carried out a 'undercover buy' to the owner of the goods. After that, the team found the place and conducted a search on Friday (12/1) at 20:30 WIB," said Teddy.

The evidence confiscated included three packages of "happy water" with a total of 111.9 grams, 77 ecstasy pills with a total of 27, 99 grams, five green ecstasy pills weighing 3.62 grams, one pack of keytamine with a net weight of 1.08 grams and 42 psychotropic pills of everin five (H5) type and others.

"The modus operandi of the suspect WK and BT mixed "happy water" with a mixture of narcotics, psychotropics and keytamins and others to distribute it to other people," he said.

Teddy said the three suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with 132 of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Article 60 of Law No. 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics.

"The team is still conducting further investigations regarding the manufacture of drugs for the past two months," he said.
