Hasto Curhat Campaign Ganjar-Mahfud In Central Java And East Java Many Intimidation

JAKARTA - During the 2024 election campaign period, the presidential-cawapres candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD often visited Central Java and East Java as campaign locations. Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP Hasto Kristiyanto explained the reason. Hasto said that Ganjar-Mahfud often visited these two provinces because there were cases of intimidation that befell his supporters. "Why did Pak Ganjar come last to Central Java and East Java, because in both provinces there was a lot of intimidation, so there was a lot of intimidation, so there was a fighting spirit," said Hasto in Central Jakarta, Sunday, January 14. However, Hasto emphasized that Ganjar and Mahfud also visited a number of regions in Indonesia which are PDIP vote bases. "But Pak Ganjar also came to North Sumatra, coming to NTT, North Sulawesi, many regions are PDI-P bases such as Jambi, Bengkulu," said Hasto. Furthermore, Hasto also claimed that now positive sentiment towards Ganjar-Mahfud MD has increased from other presidential and vice presidential pairs.

This positive sentiment, according to Hasto, began to appear more after the debate of the three presidential candidates in 2024. "Why? Because this is a populist leader, when the debate is not emotional, when the debate conveys the best idea, and is not angry because of losing the debate. That shows positive sentiment towards Pak Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud, which we believe is to win this presidential election," he added.
