PPATK Affirms No Motive For Disbursing 36.67 Percent Of PSN Funds Entered The Pockets Of ASN And Politicians

JAKARTA - The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) did not have any motive when mentioning 36.67 percent of the national strategic project (PSN) money entered the pockets of the state civil apparatus (ASN) or politicians. This information was opened as a form of fulfilling the Public Information Disclosure Law (KIP).

"PPATK does not have any motive other than merely reporting accountability for the implementation of duties, functions and authorities," said Head of the Public Relations Bureau of PPATK Natsir Kongah to reporters in a written statement, Saturday, January 13.

Even so, Natsir clarified the issue of 36.67 percent of PSN's money entering the pockets of ASN and politicians. He said, this number is only one project that indicates that the incident and the handling by law enforcement officials has been carried out.

"In short, we convey that 36.67 percent is against one case mode which is currently being handled by law enforcement," he said.

Natsir stated that the disclosure of these findings also did not mention who the related parties were. Moreover, all of the data mentioned is statistical.

"Moreover, some of the data and information submitted have actually been submitted by PPATK to the authorities authorized to follow up," he said.

Moreover, according to him, this data is legally reported as an effort by the government to maintain accountability and governance of budget projects. PSN is expected in the future to provide benefits to the community.

"PPATK has never involved itself in the world of politics. However, in terms of duties and functions it cannot be avoided that PPATK must play a role in preventing and eradicating money laundering offenses and TPPT which will damage the democratic process in our beloved Republic of Indonesia," he said.
