99 TPS In Riau Islands Are In The Blankspot Zone For Internet Signals

The KPU of Riau Islands Province (Kepri) said that at least 99 polling stations (TPS) were in the internet blankspotsil zone.

Chairman of the Riau Islands Province KPU (Kepri) Indrawan Susilo Prabowoadi said his party had coordinated with the local Diskominfo in order to discuss this with the providers in order to minimize the blankspot TPS.

"In addition, if it is also until the 'H' day, for example, there is also no internet, we have also prepared several things that must be anticipated, because then the internet is needed in order to be able to run the voice recapitulation information system," said Indrawan as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 12.

The anticipatory steps taken include using a multiplier machine to make a copy of the election results from the TPS.

"So the scenarios are also in order that the substance of the election results must still exist, there must be documents in the form of such as C copies of the results," he said.

Initially, the Riau Islands KPU found nearly 200 blankspot TPS, and matched at all coordination points.

"So this is what we hope will be served on D day because we will use the recapitulation information system in order to keep the votes from the TPS until above fixed and nothing has changed," he said.

Hingga saat ini sudah hampir 8 ribu orang di Kepri melakukan pindah pilih.

According to him, this is one of the positive signals that the enthusiasm of people outside the Riau Islands or outside existing regencies and cities, and because of certain conditions, they must move to vote.
