JAKARTA - In order to support the government's program related to the provision of clean water in the Sumatra region, PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) established strategic collaborations by distributing financing of IDR 327.3 billion, consisting of IDR 77.3 billion to PT Adika Bakti Parama on December 16, 2024 and IDR 250 billion to PT Pembangunan Peruma Tirta Riau (PPTR) on December 18, 2024.
Interim Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Financial Officer IIF, Rizki Pribadi Hasan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the trust of PT Adika Bakti Parama and PPTR in using products and services from IIF.
"Of course we hope that the financing provided can accelerate project completion and provide tangible benefits for the community and industry in the Sumatra region," he said, in a written statement, Thursday, December 19.
In detail, the financing facility provided to PT Adika Bakti Parama aims to support the development of the Medang Kampai Water Processing Installation Project in Dumai City, Riau with a capacity of 125 liters per second. Furthermore, the financing facility provided to PPTR is used for the Pekanbaru Regional Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) construction project Kampar Phase 1 with a phase 1 production capacity of 500 liters per second.
Rizki added that for the last five years to date, IIF has contributed to the construction of 12 clean water supply projects in Indonesia with a total commitment of more than IDR 2.5 trillion.
Until 2023, IIF played a role in supplying a clean water capacity of 21,900 liters per second, with a total user of 1.34 million households in Indonesia.
To support future business expansion, in addition to obtaining additional capital through the issuance of a perpetual securities of IDR 335 billion in early January 2024, recently IIF has also received capital injections of IDR 545 billion from one of its shareholders, PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) or PT SMI.
Thus, the company's total equity in 2024 is expected to reach IDR 3.3 trillion.
