JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a weather forecast for the territory of Indonesia on Friday 12 January 2024. Syndhy Indah Pratiwi reporters revealed weather conditions in the big cities of Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara, as well as in eastern Indonesia.

"For Java Island, Jakarta City will have light rain, and Bandung City will have moderate rain. Meanwhile, cloudy to cloudy weather is predicted in Serang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya," said Syndhy in a BMKG Info broadcast.

The average air temperature in Indonesia's big city is around 21 degrees Celsius which is predicted to be the minimum temperature in Bandung City, and temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius are the maximum temperature predicted to occur in the city of Surabaya.

On the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, cloudy weather is predicted to occur in Denpasar and Mataram cities. Meanwhile, in Kupang City, moderate rain is predicted.

For eastern Indonesia, cloudy weather is predicted to occur in the cities of Manokwari and Jayapura. "Meanwhile, Ambon City has light rain, and is aware of rain accompanied by lightning in Ternate City," concluded Syndhy.
