Kaltara Police Chief Visits KTT Police Check Personnel Readiness

TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan Police Chief (Kaltara) Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya accompanied by a number of main officials (PJU) of the Kaltara Police visited the Tana Tidung Police Headquarters.

The visit was welcomed by Tana Tidung Police Chief, AKBP Didik Purwanto with the main official of the Tana Tidung Police.

The Regional Police Chief said the working visit (Kunker) was to review and check the readiness of the Resort Police to secure the 2024 General Election in the Tana Tidung Regency (KTT) area.

"Personnel from the Tana Tidung Police have carried out the Great Security Operation Brata Kayan 2024 well. So that the entire jurisdiction of the Kaltara Police is under control and there are no prominent incidents, especially in the jurisdiction of the Tana Tidung Police," said the Kapolda, Thursday, January 11.

Daniel said that members of the National Police must be able to control the security and social security situation and handle criminal cases thoroughly. For example, theft with violence (curas), theft, drug abuse, brawls, and other crimes.

"The application of a preemptive and preventive approach by the Binmas function and the Intelligence function must also be maximized, especially now that the election stage has entered," he said.

The Kaltara Police Chief hopes that the Tana Tidung Police Personnel will recognize and improve communication with all community leaders.

"This is a strategic step to reduce potential conflicts that may arise. In carrying out their duties, they must be populist, especially services in the field," he said.

Previously, the Kaltara Police Chief also checked the preparedness of personnel to secure the 2024 election at the Sekatak Police Headquarters and Tanjung Palas Utara (TPU).

The Kapolda appealed to Polsek personnel to always be ready in carrying out their duties, always serve the community humanely and optimally so that people's love and trust in the Police will increase.

"Personnel of the Sector Police continue to maintain neutrality as members of the National Police, not taking sides with one of the pairs of candidates, keep the kamtibmas in Bulungan Regency conducive, especially during the 2024 election," he concluded.
