TKN Responds To JK: Prabowo Is Not Emotional, Instead He Is Silent With His Patience

JAKARTA - Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Nusron Wahid, said that presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto was not emotional, especially during the presidential candidate debate.

This was said by Nusron in response to the statements of the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kallayang that a leader must prioritize patience rather than showing an emotional side.

"Regarding Mr. JK, there is actually no emotion in Mr. Prabowo. There is no emotion, Mr. Prabowo is actually silent with his patience, stabbed, cursed, then cornered," said Nusron during a press conference at the TKN Prabowo-Gibran Media Center, South Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.

According to Nusron, Prabowo was not even patiently provoked when asked to open data on the national defense system by his two rivals.

He said that if the data was opened, the foreign parties would know. "Being, wow, then Indonesia is not very strong, really," he said.

Nusron also said that there was no trial at Commission I of the DPR with a joint agenda with the Ministry of Defense which was carried out openly to the public.

According to him, this is part of an effort to form a deterrent effect.

"There has never been a trial in the DPR, Commission I, with the Ministry of Defense being open in general, it must be closed, and those who ask to be closed are members of the DPR themselves. Check the digital footprint and including the parties supporting Pak Ganjar and Pak Anies who asked to be closed," he said.

Previously, JK stated that a leader must prioritize patience rather than showing an emotional side when facing a problem.

This was conveyed by JK in a forum entitled "National and Entrepreneurship Dialogue" in Surabaya, East Java, Wednesday (10/1).

"How do you think the state is led by angry people? What do you think if he argues with the head of another country?" said JK.

According to JK, if the leaders and state officials cannot control their emotions, then a big impact can be accepted by the people.

JK said that a leader and state official must be able to have a calm attitude and prioritize "cold thinking" when responding or solving problems.

"Leaders must be calm, have ideas, don't be emotional, because there are many problems with this nation, if our leader doesn't calm down, it's certainly not good. Leaders should not be emotional," he said.
