Collaborating With Batik Museum, Huawei Presents Batik Pattern Features On The GoPaint Application

JAKARTA Huawei is collaborating with the Indonesian Batik Museum in releasing the latest feature in the GoPaint application, namely the Batik Resource Center. This feature was launched so that users can make batik works digitally.

To support the manufacture of batik, Huawei provides special brushes, canvases, and presets with batik patterns to make it easier for its users. Batik Resource Center will be available on the GoPaint app for the 12.2-inch MatePad Pro and a newer tablet.

Huiler Fan, CEO of Huawei Device Indonesia, said that they believe in the importance of technology's role and preserving cultural heritage. Technology can also connect the younger generation with the culture inherited from the past generation.

"By presenting the Batik Resources Center feature to GoPaint, we want to provide a medium that is not only innovative, but also helps introduce and preserve the wealth and beauty of Indonesian Batik," Huiler said in a statement received by VOI.

Huiler added that this feature is expected to be able to encourage users to be creative and explore their creativity. Before making batik in real life, this feature can be used to create patterns or batik designs digitally.

The Indonesian Batik Museum, under the auspices of the Indonesia Heritage Agency, supports the presence of the Batik Resources Center feature in the GoPaint application. According to the Batik Museum, this feature can preserve batik in an all-digital era.

Aprianingrum explained that this collaboration is in accordance with their vision, namely realizing heritage preservation and cultural identity. This feature is expected to introduce batik patterns to the younger generation and inspire them to preserve culture.
