Thursday Morning, SYL Is Scheduled To Be Examined By The Police In The Firli Bahuri Extortion Case

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) is scheduled to be questioned at Bareskrim Polri today, Thursday, January 11, regarding the alleged extortion case committed by former KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.

"That's right (checked) at 10:00 at the Criminal Investigation Unit on the 6th floor," said SYL's attorney, Djamaludin Koedoeboen when confirmed.

However, Djamaludin does not yet know what investigators will investigate. He only made sure that he would provide evidence for this examination.

"We have evidence to prove it," he said.

Djamaludin also said that this examination would be confronted with other witnesses. However, he also did not know who would be confronted with his client.

Then it was confirmed that the confrontation was not with Firli Bahuri. This is because Firli's attorney, Ian Iskandar, denied Filri's examination today.

"Nothing, this heretical information," said Ian when confirmed.

This information was confirmed by the Director of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak. Apart from SYL, the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Ministry of Agriculture, Muhammad Hatta, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Kasdi Subagyono were also investigated.

"It is true that today, Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 10:00 WIB, witnesses SYL, M Hatta and Kasdi Subagyono were again summoned by the Investigating Team of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya," said Ade in his statement.
