JEMBER - Hundreds of joint personnel were alerted to secure the arrival of vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the National Salawat Apple which was held at Jember Sport Garden, Jember Regency, East Java.

"The number of internal and external security personnel is 522 people, with details of 352 members of the National Police, 100 members of the TNI, 30 members of the Civil Service Police Unit and the Jember Transportation Service each," said Jember Police Chief AKBP Moh. Nurhidayat reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 10.

According to him, the Very Import Person (VVIP) security forces were applied to Vice Presidential Candidate number 2 when carrying out their political safari in Jember Regency.

"For Gibran, his class security is VVIP because he is a vice presidential candidate and President Joko Widodo's son," he said.

AKBP Nurhidayat explained that the security for every presidential and vice presidential candidate visiting Jember is a routine activity that is always carried out to maintain security and order during political safaris in Jember.
