Megawati Encourages PDIP Cadres To Win Ganjar-Mahfud: One Round, Ready?

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri is optimistic that pair number three, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD won in the 2024 presidential election. In fact, victory can be won in one round.

This was conveyed by Megawati when burning the enthusiasm of her cadres during a political speech during the commemoration of the 51st Anniversary of the PDIP, Wednesday, January 10 at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta. The theme of this event is Satyameva Jayate, Truth Must Win.

"So God willing, we will win one round, ready?" said Megawati.

"Ready," said all PDIP cadres who were present in the room.

Megawati emphasized that it is mandatory for cadres to ensure victory. However, the method used must be correct and based on wisdom.

He explained the importance of these two things must be held by all cadres. In fact, they can imitate the example of the Prophet Muhammad.

"The message of truth politics can also be taken from the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. For what reason? A friend of the prophet, who lives, is said to be the poorest but very happy, namely Abuzar Al Gifari, Rasulullah advised Qulil Haqqa Even though Kana Murran, what does that mean? Tell the truth even though it is bitter," said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Megawati also advised cadres not to lie. "The truth is sacred above all else, try to imagine if we lie, it's a lie to ourselves," he said.

Moreover, Mega does not want victory to be achieved by lying. The 2024 election should not be achieved in various ways because power is not everything and not forever.

"Well, I was president once. After the election, I didn't make a fuss. Yes, yes, if it is true that the people choose, yes. That power is not lasting. What lasts is above. That power will stop, whatever the position is," concluded Megawati.
