LPG Base Owner Visits Surakarta Trade Office, Questions Mandatory Buyer Rules For Bringing ID Cards

SOLO - The Trade Office of Surakarta, Central Java, accommodates the concerns of the owners of the 3 kilogram LPG base related to the use of ID cards for people who will buy the melon gas.

"Regarding the use of ID cards for LPG buyers, according to him, Pertamina has actually been socialized since the middle of the year. He said the effort was made so that the use of melon LPG was right on target," said Herudilan ANTARA, Tuesday, January 9.

This was conveyed when he met a number of owners of a 3 kg LPG base in Solo, Central Java, who visited the local Trade Office to discuss the requirements for using consumer identity cards (KTP) so that they could access the subsidy LPG.

He said the move was taken so that people who are entitled to receive subsidies, including MSME actors using ID cards. In this case, the base is required to collect data on consumers who take it there, so that later when taking it, the data must be matched.

Heru Sunardi said he would accommodate the concerns of the owners of the 3 kg LPG base and would further facilitate meetings between bases, agents who are members of Hiswana Migas, and Pertamina.

One of the owners of the LPG base in Solo Heru Purwanto said basically his party wanted an audience with the Trade Office which was a problem considering that based on regulations there were not, only in the implementation it became complicated.

He said that related to the use of the consumer ID card, he considered it a burden for the base. Moreover, in fact, so far the system for buying LPG melon from base to agents is buying and selling break.

"So one day before delivery we have to pay first. Actually it's finished, but we are given the burden to make a report, the ID card requirement must be used, this is using a cellphone, so if you don't have to buy, this is also capital," he said.

Moreover, he said, the understanding of one ID card can buy one LPG cylinder for households at one base is not fully understood.

"The fact is that buyers can buy one at the base here and one at the other base. That will add to the new problem," he said.

Therefore, he assessed that subsidies programs from the government do not need to be provided through LPG, but through other programs.

"It's better if the subsidy is revoked altogether," he said.
