Kasatpol PP Garut Calls Viral Members Supporting Gibran's Vice Presidential Candidate To Be Sanctioned Socially

GARUT - Head of the Civil Service Police Unit (Kasatpol PP) Garut Regency, West Java Usep Basuki Eko said that a number of its members who were suspected of not being neutral experienced trauma conditions and also received social sanctions within the community and their co-workers the impact of making a video of support for the vice presidential candidate number 2. "Social sanctions from the community are also very heavy for them," Basuki Eko told reporters in Garut, quoted by ANTARA Monday, February 8. He said that members of the Garut Satpol PP, totaling 13 people, admitted their mistakes and apologized for their actions that made them noisy because they expressed support for one of the vice presidential candidates. As a result of his actions, said Basuki, a number of Satpol PP members admitted that they received social sanctions with the number of people knowing about the video. Included in the workplace, he said, his colleagues in his office would certainly be angry that the impact of the video which declared themselves non-neutral had an impact on other members of the Garut Satpol PP. "His friends were angry with all. Until the emotions of his friends were neutral because they were already neutral, this was because they were labeled non-neut neutral," he said. He revealed that as the leader had several times conveyed to all ranks to maintain neutrality in the election. However, he said, the existence of the incident, of course, must be ready with the consequences to undergo the examination process, and provide the actual information. "I told you to cooperate, continue to talk about what they are, and I will continue to strengthen their mentality," he said. He added that all leaders in the Garut Satpol PP have already underwent an examination by the Garut Inspectorate and the Regional Civil Service Agency were then conveyed what is related to the video.
