Ahead Of The Third Debate, Kaesang: Pak Prabowo Really Masters Defense

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party DPP (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep assessed that Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto will be able to master the theme of the third debate of the 2024 Presidential Election held by the General Election Commission (KPU) on Sunday, January 7. "Regarding the presidential candidate debate, I think Pak Prabowo is very influential, especially about defense," said Kaesang after attending the Regional Land Coffee (Kopdarwil) PSI Management and Candidates throughout South Sumatra in Palembang, quoted from Antara, Saturday, January 6. Not only that, he continued, Prabowo Subianto is also experienced in the geopolitical world. "Tomorrow (Sunday), I will support him by holding a meeting (nobar) of presidential candidates debate with PSI cadres in Pekanbaru, Riau," said Kaesang. The third debt of the 2024 presidential election will take place at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday (7/1), with the topic of defense, security, international relations, and geopolitical relations. In South Sumatra Kopdarwil, Kaesang reminded PSI administrators and candidates in this province to work hard to win PSI and Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 elections. "I give directions to PSI friends to win Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election," said the youngest son of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Previously, the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia had determined the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres) participants, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
