Anies Asks Heru Budi To Immediately Allow Residents To Residents Of Kampung Susun Bayam

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan asked the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to immediately allow residents of former Kampung Bayam to inhabit Kampung Susun Bayam (KSB).

Kampung Susun Bayam was built by Anies while serving as Governor of DKI Jakarta for residents who were evicted due to the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Since its inauguration in October 2022 until now, residents have not been able to occupy Kampung Susun Bayam.

"I hope that the current authorities will complete the rights of the residents of Kampung Bayam in the place we have built. It has been built. It is ready, just fill it," said Anies at the Indonesian Resolution event at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Friday, January 5.

Anies emphasized that Kampung Susun Bayam was indeed founded by residents of the former Kampung Bayam who were affected by evictions. According to him, the decision was the policy of the DKI Provincial Government before his position ended.

"In my opinion, I have the heart when the place has been prepared, it is not given to the residents of spinach who should have entered the place," said Anies.

For information, residents of the former Kampung Bayam have not been able to inhabit the KSB because they do not agree with the amount of the rental rate set by Jakpro as the manager.

Jakpro offers to rent KSB at general rates, while residents want cheaper programming rates. Therefore, as a temporary solution, the government offers that they inhabit other flats in the North Jakarta area.

In August 2023, residents of Kampung Bayam also sued the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and PT Jakarta Propertindo to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN) due to this problem.

Then, a few days ago, a number of residents of the former Kampung Bayam returned to the KSB forcibly. This action was carried out because complaints from residents to the DKI Provincial Government who still wanted to stay at KSB had not been heeded.
