There Are 13,841 Voice Letters In South Tangerang In Damaged Conditions

TANGERANG - The General Election Commission (KPU) of South Tangerang noted that there were 13,841 pieces of paper from 1,044,113 ballots in damaged condition. This was known after the sorting was carried out at the KPU warehouse, North Serpong, South Tangerang.

"Received 1,044,113 ballots for the election of members of the Banten Provincial DPRD. 13,841 ballot sheets are in a damaged condition," said Head of the Technical Division of the South Tangerang City KPU, Ajat Sudrajat in his statement, Friday, January 5.

Ajat said that in the process of sorting ballot paper, 104 professional workers assisted. The sorting work time starts from 08.00 to 24.00 WIB.

"There is no target. It is in accordance with the ability of each folded officer, some are able to 2 boxes or 4 boxes, we are not limiting it," he said.

For information in the 2024 General Election, the total number of polling stations (TPS) is 3,824 points spread across seven sub-districts.

The number of Permanent Voter Lists (DPT) for the 2024 General Election in South Tangerang City (Tangsel) is 1,022,237 people. Consisting of 501,755 men and 520,482 women.

The figures above are the results of the open plenary meeting of the DPT recapitulation as outlined in the Minutes of Event Number: 198/PK.01-BA/3674/2023 dated June 21, 2023. The recapitulation of the DPT was also signed in the minutes by all commissioners of the South Tangerang City KPU.
