Residents Complain That The Number Of Party Flags At The Pondok Kopi Flyover Is Often Disturbing The Driver's View Distance

JAKARTA - A number of residents and drivers of two and four-wheeled vehicles who often cross Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, precisely at the Pondok Kopi Flyover, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta complained that hundreds of party flags were lined up on the side of the road.

The complaint was submitted because of the vulnerability of accidents in the area. The reason is, the visibility of vehicles is often hindered by party attributes, the flag on the Pondok Kopi flyover.

Anwar, one of the residents, said that the party flag installed on the flyover was often damaged and even disturbed motorists passing around the location.

"Well yes, it's certain (handling) how many times it sometimes collapses when it collapses. It's annoying all the way, it's long," he told reporters, Friday, January 5.

Anwar hopes that related parties can immediately control or pay attention to the presence of the party's flag so as not to cause casualties or interfere with the visibility of the vehicle.

"The party flag on the flyover interferes with the visibility of the vehicle, afraid of an accident. Hopefully there will be a solution," he said.

A number of campaign props (APK) appeared to be installed on both routes, both towards Duren Sawit and towards Cakung. The party's flag lined tightly with a rope tied along the flyover road divider.

The lack of supervision from campaign organizers and party volunteers also had an impact on the breakdown of the party's flag which was released so that the wooden stick hit the shoulder of the road, thereby endangering passing motorists.

Many party flags were separated from the wooden handles, wood was removed from the rope and wooden handle lying on the highway.
