Landslide Affects Several Houses In East Kemang, No Death Victim

JAKARTA - Landslides hit four to five houses on Jalan Kemang 11 RT12 / 03, Mampang Prapatan Subdistrict, South Jakarta due to high intensity rain on Saturday, February 20 in the early hours of the morning.

"There are no victims," said Head of Bangka Urban Village, Novia Arnita, as reported by Antara, Sunday, February 21.

Novia said that his party needed heavy equipment to speed up the evacuation of collapsed houses that were hit by landslides.

"Meanwhile, PPSU is helping with makeshift tools," said Novia.

Meanwhile, Head of the South Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Setiawan, said that 33 roads were flooded in his area when the rain hit DKI Jakarta and its surroundings.

Budi said the locations of the flooded roads were Jalan Swadarma, Jalan M Saidi Raya, ITC Cipulir, Jalan Gandaria V, Jalan Moh Kahfi II, Jalan Pemuda Srengseng Sawah, Jalan Manggarai Utara 4, Jalan Kapten Tendean, Gang Langgar, Jalan Bank, and Jalan Pulo.

Then Pangeran Antasari, Jalan Puri Sakti I, Jalan Kemang Utara IX or the Goat Market, Jalan Pondok Karya, Pasar Buncit, Jalan Pela Mampang, Jalan Bina Warga, Jalan Mampang Prapatan, and Jalan Duren Bangka.

Other locations, namely Jalan TB Simatupang, Jalan Benda Bawah East Cilandak, Jalan Toll Ampera I, Jalan Pejaten Raya, Jalan Warung Buncit, Jalan Gatot Subroto in front of LIPI, Jalan Pondok Jaya, Jalan Kemang Raya, Jalan Al Makmur, and Jalan Pejaten Village.

Budi revealed that currently 26 locations are still inundated with water, while the other seven points have gradually receded.

Previously, data at 12.00 WIB showed that there were 48 flood locations in the South Jakarta area and 5,655 people were displaced in several places.

In addition, based on information it was reported that one resident named Sutarmo (56) died allegedly due to being trapped in a flood in Jati Padang Village RT013 / 06 Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta.

Head of Pasar Minggu Sub-district, Arief Wibowo, said officers had difficulty evacuating the victim's body because the door to Sutarmo's house was locked.
