4 Commissioners Of The Banjarbaru KPU Who Were Removed Were Replaced By Plt From The Province

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Mochammad Afifuddin said the four commissioners of the Banjarbaru City KPU who were sanctioned with permanent dismissal by DKPP had been replaced or backed up by the KPU of South Kalimantan Province.

"Banjarbaru was backed up by the province. So four members of the provincial KPU are also carrying out their duties there," said Afifuddin at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Antara, Friday, March 14.

He explained that they were the executor of their duties there. According to him, they are also currently on duty. "Today we received a consultation they are also preparing everything," he said.

The Honorary Board of Election Organizers (DKPP) of the Republic of Indonesia has officially imposed permanent dismissal sanctions on four commissioners of the Banjarbaru General Elections Commission (KPU) for violating the election organizers' code of ethics (KEPP).

The sanction for permanent dismissal was read out by the Chairman of the Indonesian DKKPP Heddy Lugito in the trial of reading seven decisions in the Main Session Room of the DKPP, Jakarta, Friday (28/2), with case number 25-PKE-DKPP/2025.

This case was complained by former Deputy Mayor of Banjarbaru Said Abdullah who gave power to Syarifah Hayana, Abdul Hanap, and Daldiri.

"Granted the complainant's request in part. Imposing a permanent suspension sanction to the defendant," said Heddy.

The four commissioners who were permanently dismissed by the DKPP, namely Defendant I Dahtiar as chairman and member of the Banjarbaru City KPU, Teradau II Resty Fatma Sari, Defendant III Normadina, and Defendant IV Hereyanto respectively as members of the Banjarbaru City KPU.

In addition, another member of the Banjarbaru KPU, Haris Fadhillah as Defendant V received a stern warning.
