Tragic, A Junior High School Student Who Died At The Pondok Kopi Flyover Will Soon Celebrate His 15th Birthday

The identity of the junior high school (SMP) student who died in an accident at the Pondok Kopi Flyover, East Jakarta, has been identified. The victim named Fabian Athaya (14), a resident of Cakung, East Jakarta.

At the time of the incident, the victim was riding a Yamaha sports motorbike with number B 4928 TSR. The victim is a teenager who will have a birthday on February 21, next month.

The victim was found dead in a traffic accident on Thursday, January 4, morning. The incident occurred at around 06.30 WIB, when the victim was about to go to school.

"The FA victim suffered serious head injuries to death at the crime scene," said Head of East Jakarta Traffic Unit Laka, AKP Darwis when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, January 4.

The FA's motorbike suffered damage to the right and left handlebars scratched by asphalt. The fatal accident began when the motorbike driven by the perpetrator was traveling from east to west via Jalan Raya I Gusti Ngurah Rai.

"Arriving at the Pondok Kopi Flyover, the motorbike was involved in a collision with Yamaha B 4928 TSR driven by the FA victim," he said.

Then the victim FA's motorbike swerved to the right and hit the road divider. Then it caused the motorcyclist, namely the FA, to be thrown onto the asphalt.

"The head hit the metal barrier. Meanwhile, his vehicle was thrown forward. The FA was seriously injured in the head and died at the crime scene," he said.

Currently, members of the East Jakarta Traffic Unit Laka have received reports and conducted crime scenes. A number of witnesses and evidence were secured and a police report was made. The victim's body has been taken to the RSCM.
