Ganjar Was Reminded By Megawati On Standby Because Many Of Her Supporters Experienced Violence

Presidential Candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo admitted that he had been reminded by the General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri to be on alert after an incident of violence experienced by her volunteers.

This message was conveyed by Megawati in the weekly meeting of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) which was held behind closed doors on Wednesday, January 3 yesterday. Ganjar said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia reminded that there was an escalation of acts of violence and pressure on supporters of pair number three.

"Mrs. Mega's message, in a short time because there is an escalation and there is some violence, we must be on standby," Ganjar told reporters in Blora, Central Java, Thursday, January 4.

"This intimidation is indeed one of the focuses of the meeting," said Ganjar. Because, not only volunteers but regional heads also experienced the same thing.

Thus, all parties must be on standby and continue to consolidate. In fact, Megawati asked volunteers until supporting parties dared to report allegations of intimidation or other detrimental actions.

"If there is fraud, report it. There is violence, there is pressure to report it so that everyone is ready physically and mentally," he said.

"We are backing up our friends in the regions so they don't get discouraged because there are reports from friends in the regions that they are called and there is pressure so they don't get tight. But we convey the opponent, never be afraid," concluded the former Governor of Central Java.
