Hasto Claims Ganjar's Blusukan Disambut Anthusias Warga Is Different From Prabowo

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto claimed that the public was enthusiastic about the presence of presidential candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo during blusukan.

The proof is that many people gather compared to when the presidential candidate number two, Prabowo Subianto visited an area.

Hal ini disampaikan Hasto saat merespons elektabilitas pasangan nomor tiga, Ganjar Pranowo dan Mahfud MD dan partainya yang disebut menurun oleh sejumlah lembaga survei.

"If Mr. Ganjar blusukan, the people come in droves (temporary, red) Mr. Prabowo blusukan, no one comes," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 2.

Hasto explained that the public's interest in Ganjar was said to be due to the popular leadership style of PDIP cadres. Moreover, the former Governor of Central Java is not only blusukan but also staying at people's homes.

From this method, continued Hasto, Ganjar's positive electability and sentiment based on internal surveys also increased. This condition is different from the other two pairs, namely Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN).

"Positive sentiment from the leadership of Mr. Ganjar Pranowo and Mr. Mahfud which is much bigger than Mr. Prabowo Gibran, we believe that the people provide preference for Ganjar's support, Mr. Mahfud," he said.

"If PDIP's important struggle goes down to the people, that's the most important point of performance, that's the real survey," concluded Hasto.
