Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto spoke about the arrival of presidential candidate number two, Prabowo Subianto to Cilincing, North Jakarta on Saturday, December 30.
He quipped the Minister of Defense (Menhan) that he was practicing blusukan habits or going down to the community.
"We respect it if Pak Prabowo tries to practice blusukan," Hasto told reporters at the PDIP DPP, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 2.
Hasto said Prabowo should have studied blusukan to be able to see the conditions in society. “ This is a good thing to show by every leader,” he said.
“ Leaders should come down together with the people, ” continued the former member of the DPR RI.
Even so, Hasto said Prabowo's blusukan style was still inferior to Ganjar Pranowo. This is because the presidential candidate number three is also used to coming to one area and even staying at a resident's house.
From this activity, Ganjar called Hasto often absorbs the aspirations of the people, especially in the regions. “ Programs to overcome poverty are a grounded program, ” he said.
"Because (the program, red) is the result of blusukan, the result of sleeping in people's homes is not the result of blusukan training," said Hasto.
Prabowo, who ran with Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election, is known to have come to the Cilincing area last week. This moment was uploaded to his personal Instagram account, @prabowo.
In the upload, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party was accompanied by his aide, Major Inf Teddy Indra Wijaya. There, Prabowo heard a number of problems between residents, including difficulty with clean water and rising sea water.
