Volunteers Of The People's Movement Form Anies-Muhaimin Supporting Network From Millennials And Gen-Z

JAKARTA - Volunteers of the People's Movement formed a volunteer network supporting Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) in the 2024 Presidential/Vice Presidential Election (Pilpres) from millennials and generation Z who are members of the Young People's Movement (GRM).The National Presidium Coordinator of the People's Movement Sahrin Hamid said that the volunteer network was to accommodate novice voters or Gen Z and millennials to be more concerned with the process of running elections, as well as helping campaign for the vision and mission of the AMIN pair. "Currently they are organizing themselves so that in the near future they will become a forum for Gen Z and millennials to be involved in elections," said Sahrin, quoted from Antara, Monday January 1. Sahrin said that the Chairperson of the GRM for the national level has already been elected. In the near future, he will declare himself as one of the volunteer networks supporting AMIN pairs. He explained that the volunteer network is an effort to respond to the interest of young people aged 18 to 30 years who want to be actively involved in this year's election so that they can get political education to guard the democratic parties in Indonesia. Going forward, he said, the GRM will coordinate with the National Team (Timnas) The winning of AMIN and the People's Movement that has already been formed and accommodates cross-professional intellectuals. In the near future, the formation of GRMs to provincial and district/city levels throughout Indonesia to attract indecisive voters (undecided volers) from young children in each region.

Selain mengampanyekan gagasan perubahan AMIN, pria yang juga menjadi Juru Bicara Timnas AMIN itu menuturkan bahwa pihaknya akan memberdayakan sukarelawan Gerakan Rakyat Muda untuk membantu mengawal perolehan suara pada hari pencoblosan pilpres mendatang sehingga bisa mendorong terwujudnya pemilu yang jujur dan adil.
