Visit To Kupang, Gibran Greets Residents Waiting Outside Eltari Airport

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka greeted thousands of Kupang residents who had been waiting for him outside Eltari Kupang International Airport, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

Gibran accompanied by his wife Selvi Ananda arrived at Eltari Kupang International Airport at around 20.00 WITA, Friday, December 29.

Gibran's reception has started from the exit of Eltari Airport. Local community leaders also draped the Kaliuda type of katmba woven fabric as a tribute to the Surakarta Mayor.

Along the way, a series of Gibran cars was also attended by hundreds of supporters riding motorbikes. They shouted chants from their supporters. "Prabowo-Gibran won one round!" they exclaimed.

Gibran will conduct a series of campaigns in NTT until Saturday (30/12). He will meet cadres of supporting parties, volunteers, interfaith leaders, and young people.

Meanwhile, accompanying President Joko Widodo's eldest son included Deputy Chairperson of TKN Grace Natalie, Secretary General of the Prima Dominggus Party Oktavianus, and a number of influencers such as the Muslim Tretan, Coki Pardede, and Edozel.

Gibran, who is still active as mayor of Surakarta, took time off while campaigning in Kupang, NTT.
