National Police Chief Replaces North Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo rotated the position of North Sulawesi Police Chief. Inspector General Yudhiawan was appointed to replace Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto.

The transfer of position was stated in the Telegram Letter (ST) number ST/2864/XII/KEP./2023, which was signed by the Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources (As HR) Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo on behalf of the National Police Chief.

"Yes, it is true that mutations and rotations are common in the context of tour of duty and refreshment within the National Police organization," said Dedi in his statement, Thursday, December 28.

Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto was replaced as North Sulawesi Police Chief because he was prepared for assignments outside the Polri structure.

In the ST, the National Police Chief also appointed Inspector General Eddy Sumitro Tambunan to replace Inspector General Risyapudin Nursin as the Expert Staff Coordinator (Koorsahli).

This is because Inspector General Risyapudin Nursin will also be prepared to serve outside the Police structure.

Originally, the National Police Chief issued three STs, two of which were registered with the number ST/2865/XII/KEP./2023 and ST/2866/XII/KEP./2023.

"Overall there are 483 personnel who have transferred," said Dedi.
