Many Yel-yel 'Solo Not Gibran', This Is Kaesang's Response

JAKARTA - PSI General Chairperson (Ketum) Kaesang Pangarep responded to the emergence of the "Solo is not Gibran" chant on social media (social media) and banners that read the same thing at a number of points in Solo City.

The youngest son of President Joko Widodo responded casually to his older brother, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. He said, Gibran is a native of Solo City.

"Solo is not Gibran? Solo is not Mas Gibran, but Mas Gibran, yes Solo," said Kaesang in a written statement, Thursday, December 28.

This statement was conveyed by Kaesang on the sidelines of his campaign activities with PSI cadres in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

When asked further about the impact of the appearance of these chants, Kaesang chose to answer other questions and focused on winning the pair number 2 in the "Sibu Mosque Island".

"Because in NTB, Pak Prabowo always wins and I'm sure this time I can win again for Pak Prabowo so he can win one round," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the PDI-P DPC (PDIP) and former Surakarta Mayor F. X Hadi Rudyatmo admitted that he did not know about the installation of the banner that read "Solo Bukan Gibran".

"I don't know, I don't know how to put it on koyo ngono. (I don't know, I've never installed it like that). Why take care of it like that," said Rudyatmo, Wednesday, December 27.
