Tomorrow, Central Jakarta Bawaslu Will Read The Decision Of The Gibran Case To Distribute Milk In CFD

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Central Jakarta (Jakpus) has stated that it is ready to read out the verdict regarding the alleged violation of the Jakarta car free day (CFD) campaign conducted by the Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Friday (29/12) tomorrow.

"We are ready (to read the verdict regarding the distribution of milk at CFD by Gibran on Friday). Hopefully it will run smoothly," said Central Jakarta Bawaslu Chairman Christian Nelson Pangkey as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 28.

Central Jakarta Bawaslu is scheduled to ask for clarification from Gibran regarding the alleged violation of the campaign today.

However, according to Sonny Pangkey, Christian Nelson Pangkey's nickname, his party has received sufficient information to be used as study material in deciding whether or not the alleged violation of the campaign is proven.

Earlier on Thursday (21/12), Central Jakarta Bawaslu summoned a number of politicians from the National Mandate Party (PAN) to be questioned regarding the activities of the second-number vice presidential candidate distributing milk at Car Free Day Jakarta.

At that time, the Chairman of the Central Executive Board of PAN Zita Anjani and several candidates for PAN legislature, namely Eko Hendro Purnomo or Eko Patrio, Sigit Purnomo Syamsuddin Said or Pasha Ungu, and Surya Ula Utama or Uya Kuya were present.

It is known, Gibran Rakabuming Raka distributed free milk to the community around the HI Roundabout Area, Jakarta on Sunday (3/12).

This was considered by a number of parties as a violation because the mayor of Solo appeared to be socializing his flagship program with Prabowo Subianto during the Motor Vehicle Free Day.

The response was then dismissed by Gibran who stated that the activity was only to greet the people in places where many people visited.

"It's without campaign props (APK). We don't do taxation for voting or not," said Gibran.
